About Me

My name is Naoise Hallissey. I am a filmmaker from County Kildare. 

I graduated with a BA Film & Broadcasting from TU Dublin in 2024, specialising in documentary. I also took part in the intensive CampusDoc programme in HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht as part of an Erasmus exchange to the Netherlands in 2022-2023. 

I am passionate about film, and I am particularly interested in making work that engages with social issues, culture and society, in an energising and engaging way.

I enjoy directing, producing, and researching new ideas. I am also passionate about art and the visual side of filmmaking, having worked in roles such as director of photography and camera operator.
