My name is Naoise Hallissey. I am a filmmaker from County Kildare, Ireland. I am currently based between Dublin and London.
I graduated with a 1st in BA Film & Broadcasting from Technological University Dublin in 2024, where I specialised in documentary filmmaking. In 2022-2023, I took part in the intensive CampusDoc programme in HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht as part of an Erasmus exchange to the Netherlands.
I am passionate about film, and I am particularly interested in making work that explores social inequality, subculture, and overlooked stories in an energising and engaging way.
I enjoy directing, producing, and researching new ideas. I am passionate about the arts in community settings, and making cultural spaces more inclusive and welcoming to everybody. I am actively involved in the organisation of a grassroots community football team in Dublin, where I have produced and assisted with many events.
I am always looking for something new to work on. If you would like to collaborate, or workshop ideas, please get in touch!
